The characters of chainsaw man they are pretty specific. They all carry a tinge of insanity, which is emphasized by Kishibe and other fel hunters several times throughout the story. After all, it’s actually crazy to face terrifying creatures like devils armed with few weapons.
Though Denji has powers, he needs to train to keep up with the more powerful devils. The protagonist of Chainsaw Man lands in a short narrative arc of the genre in the first season of the anime. The training is supervised by the terrible and experienced Kishibe, but the boy is accompanied by another friend who also needs to learn to better manage her powers: power. A lover of lies, egocentric and selfish, vain and conceited but still powerful, the bad girl trains alongside Denji to try to improve.
In one of the funniest moments of the series The two wear glasses to pretend they are geniuses and improve her IQ to find the method to bring down her master. And let’s assume they make some progress on the first try, though not enough. Now Miruqi has decided to give space to this version of the she-devil Power cosplay with exploding intelligence thanks to glasses.
