On the official page for the original anime Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha from Aru: Dai Mankai no Shou (Yuki Yuna is a hero: The Great Mankai Chapter), the third season of Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha from Aru, the distribution information for the Blu-ray BOX compilation packs has been released, confirming that the series will have a total of twelve episodes. The packages will be released on the following dates:
- Package 1 (episodes 1 to 6) – 15.12.2021.
- Package 2 (episodes 7 to 12) – January 19, 2022.
This third season has been on the air in Japan since October 1st, while the platform was running HIDIVE takes care of sales in the west. This animation project has since been created by Takahiro, produced by Studio gokumi and directed by Seiji Kishi as part of a multimedia project entitled Takahiro IV project.
The first season aired between October and December 2014, followed by a second season consisting of an adaptation of a prequel novel and a sequel that aired between March 2018 and January 2018. and a number of short films that aired between April and June 2021.
Production team
- Seiji Kishi (Angel Beats !, Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, Galaxy Angel Rune) is responsible for directing the anime in Studio gokumi.
- Makoto uezu (Akame ga kill!, Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!) is responsible for writing and maintaining the scripts.
- Takahiro sakai (Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge, Tonari no Kyuuketsuki-san) is responsible for character design and animation direction.
- Keiichi okay (Hourou Musuko, Star Driver the Movie) and MONACA (Yahari Ore no Seishun love comedy wa Machigatteiru) are responsible for composing the soundtrack.
- The six members of the cast will perform both the opening song entitled “Ashita no Hanatachi (Flowers of Tomorrow)“As titled the final topics”Chiheisen no Mukou e (Beyond the Horizon) “and” Sanshuu Chuugaku Yuushabu (Sanshuu Middle School Hero Club)“.
Synopsis of Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha from Aru
Yuuna Yuuki is a heroine in her daily life. As evidence of this, she is a member of her High School Heroes Club where she does her best to bring smiles to everyone around her. But Yuuna, always ready to complete any task, is about to take another step in her career as a heroine. Mysterious destructive forces called “Vertexes” threaten the people they love, and the Heroes Club is called in via a mysterious app to save them. Accompanied by their best friend Mimori Tougou and the sisters Fuu and Itsuki Inubouzaki, they must transform themselves into magical girls in order to fight.
