In any case, recently Zhang Yujie, a former manager of some sovereign wealth funds in China, had to auction one partially golden blue-eyed white dragon card, published in 500 copies for the 20th anniversary in 2019, on allegations of embezzlement of around 10 million euros.
Although the card is worth around € 35,000, the Offers have risen to 13 million euros, incredible numbers that would have already fully covered Yujie’s financial penalty. However, such a high number made the court suspicious that it stopped the auction to investigate. Either way, this is just another case where tickets are selling at incredible prices.
