Over the years, American giant Netflix, devoted to on-demand streaming, has focused its efforts on original productions, some of which are historically important. Thanks to the collaboration with MAPPA, the studio behind L’Attacco de Giganti 4, the company was able to announce Yasuke.
Exactly towards the end of next month from April 29thwill debut on Netflix Yasuke, the new original anime from LeSean Thomas, the same behind Cannon Busters. For those unfamiliar with the work in question, the six-episode anime plot follows:
“In a feudal Japan of ‘Mechs and magic ravaged by war, the most famous ronin, Yasuke, is fighting to lead a peaceful life after a violent past. But when a local village becomes the center of a social upheaval caused by the Daimyo is caused in war, Yasuke must take his sword and escort a mysterious child who appears to be the target of dark forces and bloodthirsty warlords.“”
