The figure of the antagonist is fundamental to the work. From the most famous of Ken the Warrior to the madmen of Jojo, the most famous manga have taken in many enemies, each with their own characteristics. Sometimes we have enemies who just want to conquer the world and others who are instead enlivened by a deeper madness.
But fans recently debated who the anime’s most disturbing antagonist is. Obviously, the range of choices was quite broad, considering how many works exist in Japan between shonen and his, between older and newer.
One of the most mentioned was on Twitter in response to this poll Orochimaru from Naruto. The man who belongs to the Sannin group has argued several times with the protagonists of Kishimoto’s work. His serpentine characteristics, constant search for immortality, and the thoughts that enliven him have made him one of the most disturbing villains.
Let’s switch from Naruto to another classic battle manga or Jojo’s bizarre adventure. Hirohiko Araki did not hold back the traits of his villains and tried to raise the bar more and more in each series. They were mentioned by the brand Yoshikage KiraDiamond is Unbreakable’s final enemy chocolateby Vento Aureo.
There is also room for Tomura Shigaraki from My Hero Academia and Griffith from Berserk, followed by many others with fewer quotes. What do you think is the most disturbing villain? Master Araki explains how to make one.
