Shirai and Demizu started publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly shonen jump from the publisher Shueisha in August 2016 and finalized in June 2020. The publisher published the nineteenth and nineteenth compilations volume on July 19.
The piece inspired an anime adaptation released in January 2019. A live-action film with minor changes to the plot will be released on December 18th.
