Over the years, with an ever-growing and diverse audience, the various anime and manga portals have started to offer more specific rankings. There is not only the sheer number of views per series, but also rankings that are dedicated best male and female characters. And that's what today is all about.

The Animecorner portal has always been involved in proposing weekly rankings of the most popular characters or the most popular couples and much more thanks to surveys carried out among its users. And with 2023 now underway, it was time to wrap up the past year with the unveiling of the Ranking of the best girls of 2022. With over 66,000 total votes, here are the top ten voting shares:

  1. Kurumi Tokisaki - 8.95%;
  2. Naval Kitagawa - 7.86%;
  3. Your counterfeiter - 7.18%;
  4. Chisato Nishikigi - 6.75%;
  5. Anya Faker – 6.68%;
  6. Hitori (Bocchi) Gotou - 6.42%;
  7. Kaguya Shinomiya - 6.12%;
  8. Performance - 6.10%;
  9. Ai Hayasaka - 5.58%;
  10. Akari Watanabe - 5.45%;

Date a Live IV's Kurumi Tokisaki clearly wins. So only second place for the esteemed Marin Kitagawa from My Dress-Up Darling, but significant. Instead, both Spy x Family and Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 3 place two characters in the top 10, with Yor and Anya for the first anime and Kaguya and Ai for the second. Other characters also appear in the leaderboards, including the volcanic and overbearing power of Chainsaw Manone of the most watched anime in recent months.
