Submitted in season one in 2019, Ufotable has focused on bringing the saga of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba in the cinema. In late 2020, the movie Demon Slayer Movie: Infinity Train hit theaters, which has made big bucks in Japan, the US and every other country where it has been released to date.

However, this inevitably delayed the expected second season, which fans believed would come out in place of the feature film in late 2020. However, after work on the film was completed, Ufotable confirmed through the official website that they were struggling with the production of Demon Slayer 2 second season so it's official and will be ready but when it comes out?

For now, on Valentine's Day, the company announced that it would begin broadcasting in 2021, although the month has not yet been confirmed. Given the timing, as well as the seasonal slots for the anime, and the various rumors that have surfaced over the past few weeks, it is widely spread Demon Slayer 2 is expected to air in October 2021.

We'll have to wait for more official information from Ufotable, of course, maybe with a new trailer, but it's difficult for the anime to reappear in other windows in front of viewers.
