It’s not uncommon for a character, even one that’s more respected by the community, to lose their life after an event in an anime. Whether it’s a popular title or a niche project, these narrative twists often tend to hurt viewers.
From time to time, the Japanese community participates in themed polls, like this one for best scene in an anime. Anyway, the popular portal Anime! anime led another of them to inflict the most shocking death in a series.
