Tokyo Revengers – Synopsis
Takemichi Hanagaki’s sophomore year of high school was the highlight of his life. He had respect, a band of friends to count on, and even a girlfriend. But that was twelve years ago. Today he is a nobody: a rickety triviality that children make fun of and that repeatedly has to apologize to his younger boss. The sudden news of the gruesome murder of the only girlfriend he had with his brother by the Tokyo Manji Gang only added insult. Half a second before a train ends his sad life forever, Takemichi returns to the same day twelve years ago when he was still with Hinata Tachibana.
After being forced to relive his downward spiral on the same day, Takemichi meets Hinata’s little brother. Without thinking, he admits his apparent death before turning to the past. Takemichi challenges him to protect his sister before inexplicably returning to the future. Miraculously, he’s not dead. Stranger still, the future has changed. It seems that Takemichi can change the flow of time.
