Weekly Shonen Jump is the most famous magazine in Japan and probably also in the world, considering that the manga published here have made history. Dragon Ball and ONE PIECE, Naruto and Demon Slayer, all have enjoyed exceptional popularity at home and overseas. What will be the fan favorite manga published in the Shueisha magazine?

A survey recently held on the Nlab ITMedia website gave the answer. Evaluating all the works published on Weekly Shonen Jump since 1968, the year of its foundation, a top 20 was obtained onwards. Let’s see who is the Japanese favorite series of the magazine:

As you can see, Slam Dunk came in first place, Takehiko Inoue’s manga on basketball who recently enjoyed the new artbook Plus / Slam Dunk Illustrations 2. Followed by the inevitable Dragon Ball and ONE PIECE, while in fourth place you find an “others”. The actual criteria for this position are unknown, which should include the sum of the votes of all the manga that did not appear in the list.

For this reason, excluding this factor, we find the recent phenomenon Demon Slayer in fifth position. Scrolling through the rankings you can find many well-known names, both from the recent past and from the more remote past, such as Naruto, Bleach and Ken the Warrior.
