The artists of the well-known animation studio Kyoto animation They made sure that the strands of hair of the protagonist of Violet Evergarden were exactly reproducible in real life through a step-by-step tutorial.

Almost every anime produced by Kyoto Animation features an emotionally moving story and great visual rendering, even Hideo Kojima cries for Violet Evergarden. The synergy of the series between complex emotions and elaborate details probably reaches its climax exactly inarticulated arrangement of the protagonist's hairwhose series of braids, fringes and tails can be elegantly composed, flowing freely in the wind or desperately desperate, depending on what the scene calls for.

As an added bonus, Violets is unlike many other popular anime hairstyles actually achievable in real life. During the recent Japanese television broadcast of Violet Evergarden: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll, the series' official Twitter account shared the character designs for their hairstyle, which guides you step by step to completely do it yourself.

Starting from the top left, the first pair of illustrations show Violet's hair, both on the side and on the back, before becoming tangled. Below says Step 2 to make one half braid on either side of the headstarting near the tip and going down just behind the ears. Once you get to the base of the skull, stop braiding and gather the remaining hair into two parts Twin tails, tied with elastic bands.

However, instead of leaving the twin tails as they are, you'll need to braid them as shown in step 3 (image below left). For step 4 (top right) you have to roll the braids behind your head, moving inward (i.e. clockwise for the left braid and counterclockwise for the right one). In step 5 you will need four U-shaped bobby pins to secure the two coiled braids in place. Position the bobby pins as shown in the middle right figure. Finally, step 6 consists of the Tie ribbons at the base of the coiled braids And that's it.

"There are a lot of scenes in Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll in which the characters' hair is a focus. We wanted the hair to look very realistic, so we decided how exactly Violet's hairstyle was put together. Can any of you really style your hair that way? ”The account tweeted and some fans shared their really impressive results.

It's not the first time Kyoto Animation has shared such a curious behind-the-scenes look, for example the studio showed the production process of Violet Evergarden.
