Demi-chan wa Kataritai Summary

A high school biology teacher, Tetsuo Takahashi, may seem like a typical everyday teacher, but beneath his amiable looks hides something less mundane: his fascination with the "Ajin", better known as "Demi". Although these half-human, half-monster-like beings have integrated themselves into human society, Takahashi believes that many things will remain unknown about them unless he interacts with them firsthand. Demi-chan wa Kataritai and his three students, Demi-Hikari Takanashi, an energetic vampire, follow Takahashi's everyday life at the Shibasaki Institute; Kyouko Machi, a kind Dullahan; and Yuki Kusakabe, the shy snow woman.

Along the way, Takahashi also meets his partner Sakie Satou, a succubus with an aversion to men. To achieve his goal of learning more about the Demi, Takahashi decides to conduct casual interviews with the girls to learn more about their abilities, their psyche, and their interaction with human society. As Takahashi cemented his bond with his students, he soon found that the demi are not as unusual as he initially believed.
