Ayano and Morimoto began publishing the light novels via the imprint KA Esuma Bunko in December 2016. The publisher released the second volume in February 2018 and they are theoretically still in print. Tsurune Summary: Kazemai Koukou Kyuudoubu
The story begins when Minato Narumiya starts high school. Archery Club advisor Mr. Tommy is willing to recruit Minato as well as his childhood friends Seiya Takehaya and Ryouhei Yamanouchi. Ryouhei convinces the reluctant Minato to attend the club’s briefing, where he meets Kaito Onogi and Nanao Kisaragi. Mr. Tommy singles out Minato and introduces him as a rare Japanese archer talent and asks him to introduce himself to everyone. But Minato’s arrow misses its target because he is afflicted with a serious illness… Minato, Seiya, Ryouhei, Nanao and Kaito. Archery brings them together, but what will they get as they go through this beautiful but bitter phase of youth?
