The last appointment from Demon Hunter had left viewers with a cliffhanger when it came to the clash between Tengen Uzui, Tanjiro Kamado and the powerful and dangerous demon Gyutaro, Daki's older brother, with whom he shares the title of the Sixth Crescent and who controls the protagonists' abilities puts to the test.

L'Episode 2x16 titled Once a Crescent Moon is defeated takes us back to the battlefield where Hinatsuru, one of the Pillar women, has just thrown wisteria-covered kunai to prevent Gyutaro's regeneration, allowing Tengen and Tanjiro to attack him. Immediately after the opening, the authors bring the viewers in front of the Tengen family grave, where the Hashira and his wives exchange a few words about the future.

Remembering this moment brings attention back from the perspective of the present hinatsuru. Unfortunately, Gyutaro is able to regenerate and with the momentum of the flying bloody blades, he is able to repel the attacks of the two demon slayers. The demon has gotten dangerously close to the Kunoichi, and while Tengen contemplates a way to save her, Tanjiro makes an amazing shot and arrives in time to protect her from Gyutaro's threat.

This was possible thanks to theUnion of breaths of water and dance of fire by the protagonist, a timely and effective decision. The scene soon switches to a fight between Inosuke, Zenitsu, and Daki, who are soon joined by Tanjiro. Tengen actually used his attack to remove both Kamado and Hinatsuru, and that's why the three protagonists choose to do it Focus on Daki before returning to help the pillar.

While Tanjiro and Zenitsu deflect the hits from the demon's obi, Inosuke is able to unleash the eighth kata of the Beast's Breath, manages to saw off Daki's head and then carries it as far as possible while the others tend to Gyutaro. Unfortunately iThe demon managed to defeat Uzui, exhausted to the ground and with a severed hand, and upon noticing the pillar's body, Tanjiro and Zenitsu fall off the roof where they were supposed to dodge an attack from the sixth crescent.

As usual, the episode ends with anticipation of the title of the next one, or "I will never give up". Finally, we leave you with a great figurine dedicated to Tengen Uzui.
