On the official site for the franchise Tsukiuta The Animation, it was announced that the premiere of the second season will be delayed again, now until October of this year.

The series was slated to premiere in July, having been delayed twice from its original premiere in 2019, however, according to the production team statement, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in development they were the cause of this new delay.

  • Michinori Chiba (Kidō Senshi Gundam Double O, Kidou Senshi Gundam: Tekketsu no Orphans) and Ai Yokoyama (UchÅ« Senkan Tiramisu) are adapting the original designs of Jiku to animation.

Tsukiuta the Animation

Tsukiuta: The Animation is the anime adaptation of a musical group and a series of CD dramas about "anthropomorphic months." The franchise focuses on the Tokyo idol unit, Six Gravity (made up of characters representing the months of December to May) and in the rival unit Procellarum (Composed of idols born in western Japan representing the months of June to November).
