Summary of Tokyo Mew Mew

The story revolves around Ichigo Momomiya who hoped his date with his love Masaya Aoyama would end romantically instead of being knocked unconscious after seeing a cat enter his body. Things get even weirder when he discovers the next day that he has started to show feline instincts and habits. When Masaya is finally attacked by a monster, she discovers that she can transform into a magical cat-eared girl named Mew Ichigo. Afterwards, Ichigo discovers that they, along with other girls like her, must defend the planet from an imminent threat.
