October 6, 2021 was the date the anime’s second season would be officially announced Tokyo Avenger. However, by the end of that day, nothing was known about the anime. On the contrary, the mysterious announcement was actually about the manga.
As suggested by the Twitter @MangaMoguraRE, there will be a special chapter of Ken Wakui’s work on the pages of issue 45/2021 of Weekly Shonen Magazine. Tokyo Revengers: Subsidiary Chapter Zero is still a mystery: No details are currently known about the history of this extra. Most likely, this side spin-off will move away from Takemichi Hanagaki’s story and shift focus to Mikey’s or Toman’s past.
Indeed, this ad has a few disappoints the communitywho longed for the announcement of the Season two anime. Although the first season finale is still pending, a sequel has not yet been officially unveiled.
The release of a Tokyo Revengers special is certainly no surprise.
