The terrible brawl between the Tokyo Manji Gang and Valhalla known as Bloody Halloween is over. The clash of Tokyo Avengerthat ended with Toman's victory resulted in a death and an arrest: Baji sacrificed himself for his friends, and Kazutora finally decided to make amends for his sins.
Make an extreme gesture, Baji Toman saved and all of his friends. Shaken by what happened, Mikey and Kazutora actually come to their senses, with the latter deciding not to run from the police and pay for the crimes they committed.
At that point, a flashback takes viewers back in time, more specifically to the day they decided to be found Tokyo Manji Gang challenge a group called the Black Dragons. Even though Mikey is the leader, he's not the one who started the group. The founder is indeed Bajiwho ruled that Manjiro and Draken would be commanders and deputy commanders, respectively, Pah-chin standard bearers, Mitsuya the guard, and he and Kazutora the attack unit. The episode then brings us back to the first meeting between Chifuyu and Baji, between whom a very strong friendship developed after a fight with criminals. For the first time, Chifuyu chose to respect a person and became Baji's trustworthy and inseparable subordinate.
These two flashbacks show how much Baji was fundamental to Toman, since Baji is actually the toman himself. In order to protect his creation and his best friends, he even gave up his life. Episode 22 ends with Draken and Takemichi visiting Kazutora, who is in prison. The two have a message for him: Mikey has forgiven him. While Mikey himself admits that this is not the whole truth, it was Baji's last wish and he decided to make it a reality.
