This 2021 scene was stolen from Tokyo Avengerthat has literally blown the community up since the anime series debuted. However, there has been much controversy over Ken Wakui’s work. Tomans Manji is reminiscent of the symbol of National Socialism, something that needs to be erased from history.
The wait for the official announcement of the second season of the animated film Tokyo Revengers is over again in the eye of the storm. The focus of the discussions is once again the manji of the swastika, which is stamped in large letters on the new clothing line of the franchise.
As you can see in the tweet at the end of the article, it says Tokyo Revengers sweatshirts, jackets, shoes and t-shirts engraved in what looks like a swastika, which today, despite the obvious differences, is associated with the symbol of National Socialism.
Obviously, the franchise and Wakui have nothing to do with this brutal 20th century political movement related to Buddhism, and therefore for religious reasons. Tokyo Revengers has been in the past precisely because of this symbol Victim of censorship and opens up controversy. People have no intention of understanding the differences between the Buddhist Manji and the Nazi swastika.
As for you, would you buy these items of clothing or would you be intimidated by the presence of this logo? We leave you to unveil the additional chapter of Tokyo Revengers and the two most recent additions to Wakui’s work.
