Tokyo Avenger by Ken Wakui continues to be successful, breaking several sales records one after the other. Among the admirers of the work seems to be Sui Ishida, the famous author of Tokyo Ghoul. The Japanese mangaka is fascinated by the Tokyo Manji Gang and their leader; Here is the homage to Manjiro Sano.

Tokyo Revengers and Tokyo Ghoul share the same name and crossbreed thanks to the fantastic Illustration edited by Sui Ishida. The Japanese mangaka wanted to pay homage to the resounding success that his colleague Ken Wakui is having with a special color artwork by Mikey.

It is not the first time that Ishida, author of Tokyo Ghoul, has attempted to illustrate the protagonists of other works. In the past, for example, he has portrayed Goku from Dragon Ball Z or Rey Ayanami from Neon Genesis Evangelion. This time, however, Ishida has outdone himself by creating a real masterpiece. As you can see in the tweet at the end of the article, posted by @AniNewsAndFact, the face of Tokyo leader Manji Gang was created from a watercolor style and a dreamy line of art. The result is a Contemporary art masterpiece, worthy of the best paintings of the past.

What do you think of the work of art? In the meantime, we remind you that the Tokyo Manji Gang will be in the 2020 Olympics and that the Tokyo Revengers Manga is the best-selling of the month.
