A leak on Weibo’s social network ensured that the animated adaptation of the manga was written and illustrated by Ken Wakui, Tokyo Revengerswill take two arcs (six months). The leak was not confirmed and it was not specified whether the two arcs are emitted continuously or separately.
The premiere of the series is planned for April 10th in Japan on various television channels. For his part, Wakui began to publish the manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha March 2017. The plant recently had more than seven million copies in circulation.
