Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T delays the release of their next Blu-ray / DVD

On the official Twitter account for the anime Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T, the third season of Toaru Kagaku no Railgun, it was reported that the release dates of the Blu-ray / DVD compilations from # 3 to # 8 will be delayed due to constant delays in the broadcast of the series. The new dates are shown in the following list:

  • Volume # 3: Delayed from June 26 to July 29.
  • Volume # 4: Delayed from July 29 to August 28.
  • Volume # 5: Delayed from August 28 to October 9.
  • Volume # 6: Delayed from September 30 to October 28.
  • Volume # 7: Delayed from October 28 to November 27.
  • Volume # 8: Delayed from November 27 to December 25.

For its part, the anime has been broadcast since January 10 and it is confirmed that it will have a total of 25 episodes. However, the broadcast of new episodes is currently suspended due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on production, and the premiere of episode # 16 was delayed until July 24.

Members of the voice cast and production team from previous seasons return for this production, including:

  • Tatsuyuki Nagai as director in the studios J.C. Staff.
  • Shogo Yasukawa as manager of the series composition.
  • Yuichi Tanaka as a character designer.
  • Maiko Iuchi as a composer of the soundtrack.

Synopsis for Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T

In the futuristic Academy City, where 80% of the residents are students, many of whom are Espers who possess unique psychic powers, Mikoto Misaka is the third strongest of only seven Espers who have received the rank of level 5. The series focuses on the adventures of Mikoto and her friends; Kuroko Shirai, Kazari Uiharu and Ruiko Saten, before and during the events of To Aru Majutsu no Index.
