The official website of the manga’s anime TV adaptation To your eternity (Fumetsu no Anata e) by Yoshitoki Ōima has released a new video trailer for the second season of the anime. The teaser reveals the anime’s new director and studio.
Kiyoko Sayama (Vampire Knight, Prétear, Amanchu! Advance) is the new director of the anime, replacing Masahiko Murata. Drive (ACTORS: Songs Connection, Vladlove) is the new animation studio replacing Brains Base.
The rest of the key employees of the first season Returns, including Shinzō Fujita as the series’ script director, Koji Yabuno as the character designer, Ryo Kawasaki as the composer, and Takeshi Takadra as the sound director.
there second season of To Your Eternity will debut in the fall, while the first premiered on NHK Educational in April 2021. The anime was originally scheduled for October 2020, but was pushed back to April 2021 due to the anime’s production schedule being severely impacted by COVID-19. That manga tells the story of a lonely boy wandering through the arctic regions of North America and meets one wolf. The two quickly become friends and depend on each other to survive the harsh environment. But the boy has a story, and even the wolf is more than he lets on.
Ōima published the manga in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in November 2016. The manga’s first arc ended in December 2019 and the second arc started in January 2020. The manga won the award for Best Shōnen Manga at the 43rd Annual Kodansha Manga Awards in May 2019.
