The end of March also marks the end of the 2022 winter season. The year started with three big hits: Attack of the Giants, Demon Slayer and My Dress-Up Darling, accompanied by the ubiquitous ONE PIECE and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. But now it’s time to see that Anime set to debut in Spring 2022.
Toei Animation has been forced to postpone ONE PIECE, Dragon Quest and other anime, which will therefore not be part of the spring broadcast, at least initially. Instead, there’s Boruto: Naruto the Next Generations, along with Detective Conan and PokΓ©mon, always in non-stop broadcast.
Among the new discoveries held:
- there’s the highly anticipated Spy x Family, one of the possible cracks of spring 2022. Anya, Loid and Yor must continue this fake family between secrets and alternative jobs nobody knows about;
- Among romantic animes, Shikimori-san is not just a cute girl, an affectionate anime of a student couple making their presence felt;
- from the pages of Shonen Jump + comes the tender comedy Aharen-san wa Hakarenai;
- there are also those from the same magazine Summer Time rendering thriller;
- then follows the survival game by Tomodachi Game;
- from the author of Takagi-san, the new anime Kunoichi Tsubaki no Mune no Uchi will project some nice ninjas in the village;
- it ends with two spokons, being the first Ao Aschifocused on football;
- the second is Dance Dance Danseur, an anime about dance prepared by Studio MAPPA.
There are not only unreleased anime but also the sequels with the second, third and fourth seasons of other more famous products:
- The Rise of the Shield Hero is one of the most popular isekai of recent years and returns in the highly anticipated second season;
- on the romcom front there’s another bestseller, the third season of Kaguya-sama: Love is War;
- then follows Return of Komi can’t communicateone of the surprises of 2021;
- also returns to Date a Live for Season 4;
- Ascendance of a Bookworm also debuts in April with Season 3;
- great return for Tiger & Bunny too with the second season;
- The historical anime about the Chinese War Empire, produced by Studio Pierrot, will debut its fourth season in April.
These are just the most recognizable faces that could hide the surprise of the season, but the arrivals are numerous. Which anime are you waiting for the most?
