A leak from Weibo assured that the manga was written and illustrated Eku Takeshima, Sasayaku You ni Koi wo Utau (Whisper me a love song), will have an anime adaptation. So the leak didn’t reveal any production details or a planned release date We’ll have to wait for an official confirmation soon.
Eku Takeshima began publishing the manga in the magazine Monthly Comic Yuri Hime from the publisher ichijinsha in February 2019 and has published six compiled volumes to date. Yori Asanagi is a mature girl in many ways, but she stays pure when it comes to romance. That feeling is shown when a newcomer, Himari Kino, suddenly professes her love for him after his band’s performance at the opening ceremony. Confused and surprised, Yori seeks advice from her friends, but they make fun of her and tell her that she is experiencing love. Yori soon makes up her mind and tries to reciprocate Himari’s feelings, but in a twist of events, she realizes that what Himari loved wasn’t her, it was her music!
Sasayaku You ni Koi wo Utau revolves around the relationship between Yori and Himari. As Yori continues to pursue his love for Himari, he vows to make Himari fall in love with her. However, will this passionate love blossom or will it remain unrequited?
