On the official page for the upcoming original anime by Aniplex, Yuuhodou and studying EYE FILMS, Build Divide: Code Black, the second promotional video of the project was released. The video maintains the premiere date scheduled for October 9, while the platforms Crispy roll and Funimation they will take care of its distribution in the west.
The first season will premiere in the fall 2021 season (October-December) and the second in the spring 2022 season (April-June). The press release also revealed that the series will have a total of three Blu-ray / DVD releases on January 26, 2022, February 23, 2022 and March 30, 2022, but does not confirm the number of episodes included.

- The band EGOIST plays the opening song entitled "BANG !!!" while MEMAI SIREN plays the final theme entitled "Fukagyaku-teki na Inochi no Shouzou".
Build Divide: Code Black Synopsis
In New Kyoto, a city ruled by the "King", your own value in the trading card game Build Divide is determined by your own strength. Rumors circulate about New Kyoto and its king. "If you defeat the king in Build Divide, every wish will be granted." And in order to challenge the king, one has to participate in the TCG battle called Rebuild and the "key" has to be completed. Everyone has a wish that they were happy to have fulfilled. Teruto Kurabe, a boy who vows to kill the king, and Sakura Banka, the mysterious girl who leads him, join the battle of rebuilding. With New Kyoto as the setting, the curtain rises and the battle for Teruto and his friends begins!
