2023 promises great news for theBoruto Anime: Naruto Next Generations. In fact, at the end of 2022, the never-ending cycle of anime filler sagas will end. The start of the new year brings us back to the adaptation of the original work, first with Sasuke Retsuden and then with the Code saga.
Boruto episode 281 has closed the original Laboratory of Games anime arc with a shocking revelation. Ouga wasn’t actually the creepy old man portrayed at the beginning of the saga. Yasume was Ouga’s true identity, the eighth member of the Kara organization.
With the Episode 282 Boruto page changes. Concluding the story of Ouga, Boruto’s anime will adapt one of Naruto’s most successful novels. Sasuke Retsuden’s big moment is confirmed with the launch of the accompanying anime adaptation.
Sasuke Retsuden’s manga adaptation was released on MangaPlus in October. On January 8th, however, it arrives on Crunchyrollanimated adaptation by Sasuke Retsudenof which we can preview the first images.
Naruto is seriously ill and Sasuke decides to go in search of a cure. Arriving in the land of Redaku, a place far from the world, he encounters beasts believed to be extinct guarding prisoners sentenced to hard labor. He infiltrates the prisoners looking for clues to cure Naruto’s illness, which Hagoromo Ootsutsuki also suffered from. In fact, the Hermit of the Six Paths in Redaku is said to be able to miraculously heal himself.
