A few months after the first teaser trailer of Bocchi the Rock! The debut window of the anime was revealed via the official CloverWorks series social media. The premiere of the adaptation of the Aki Hamaji's four panel manga seriesis planned for the fall season of the year.
On the series' official Twitter profile are the staff of Bocchi the Rock! shared a key visual revealing the exit. The anime will debut on that day October 8, 2022. Adopting the manga's four-cartoon style, the promotional image shows the character design of the protagonists.
Bocchi the Rock follows the story of Hitori Goto, nicknamed "Bocchi-chan" which means "the lonely one". The girl spends her time alone playing the guitar. His days pass strumming his beloved musical instrument at homeuntil one day he meets Nijika Ijichi, who is looking for a guitarist for her group called "Kessoku Band".
The original cast of the adaptation includes Yoshino Aoyama, Sayumi Suzushiro, Saku Mizuno and Ikumi Hasegawa as the protagonists Bocchi-chan, Nijika, Ryo Yamada and Ikuyo Kita. The anime is in Production at CloverWorks, which recently topped the charts with Spy x Family. The direction will be entrusted to Keiichiro Saito, while Erika Yoshida will take care of the composition and script of the series. Keroira is designing the characters for the manga, which was published in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Max magazine in December 2017.
