A press release reports that the light novels were written by Honobonoru500 and illustrated by Surname, The weakest tamer went on a journey to pick up garbage (Saijaku Tamer wa Gomi Hiroi no Tabi in Hajimemashita), will have an anime adaptation. Production details and release date will be announced shortly.
Honobonoru500 began publishing the novels through the independent service Shousetsuka ni Narou in August 2018 and later began publication in hard copy through the editorial TO books in November 2019. A manga adaptation by tou fukino will be published via the service cartoon crown since February 2020.
