More news is on the way after the new trailer for The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes was released yesterday on the film’s website. The animated adaptation of Light novel written by Mei Hachimoku and illustrated by Kukka Premiered on September 9th, 2022, and fans already have very high expectations for the new CLAP studio product.
The tunnel to summer, the exit of farewells is a sci-fi story starring young Tono Kaoru who stands in front of the Urashima Tunnel, which is the subject of strange rumours, on a summer’s day. The girl will decide to go to the place, but she will not be alone: ββto accompany her, she will find her schoolmate Anzu Hanaki, with whom she is not very familiar.
Just today the new key visual of the film, in which the two protagonists stand on the tracks, with the cloudy sky above them that promises rain. Next to the picture that you will find at the bottom of the news, they were several actors announced: In directing the film, we find Tomohisa Taguchi along with Kanji Miyake, while Tomomi Yabuki will be the character designer. Seichi Tachikawa, Akio Hasegawa, and Yasuhisa Kato are in charge of animation, and Harumi Fuuki is handling the soundtrack. In the artistic direction we then find Yuuki Hatakeyama along with Eiko Tsunado and Daiki Kuribayashi and Saori Goda, the latter of whom will manage the colors of the film. Kou Hoshina will direct photography, while Akinori Mishima will handle editing. Satoki Iida will eventually be the film’s sound director.
When the movie The Tunnel to Summer, The Exit of Goodbyes was announced, fans were excited as they didn’t expect a movie about the light novel immediately after the manga. Will Studio CLAP be able to offer the public a product worthy of the original work?
