The official site for the adaptation of the manga "Mato Seihei no Slave (Chained Soldier)" has announced the production of a second season. The talented Kana Hanazawa will join the cast as Ren Yamashiro, the Commander of the Tenth Unit of the Anti-Demon Forces and the Commander-in-Chief of the entire organization.
The first season, which aired during the Winter-2024 season, consisted of twelve thrilling episodes. The manga, written by Takahiro and illustrated by Youhei Takemura, began its journey on Shonen Jump Plus in January 2019.

- Gorou Kuji (Uramichi Oniisan, BEATLESS, Gi(a)rlish Number) is in charge of directing the anime at the studios Seven Arcs.
- Yasuhiro Nakanishi (Kaguya-sama: Love is War, Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun, Carole & Tuesday) is in charge of writing and supervising the scripts.

A Glimpse into the Story
The story follows high school student Yuuki Wakura, who stumbles upon a Mato entrance and is rescued by Kyouka Uzen, the head of the Seventh Unit of the Anti-Demon Corps. Recognizing Yuuki's potential, Kyouka asks him to join the Anti-Demon Corps as her slave.
