Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha Summary
In the distant past, a war between humans and demons caused widespread chaos and bloodshed. To end this seemingly endless conflict, the Demon King Anos Voldigoad willingly sacrificed his life in hopes of being reborn in a peaceful future. In preparation for the return of their king, the demon race established the Demon King Academy, an elite institution tasked with determining Anos’ identity when he awakens. He is reborn two millennia later, but to his surprise, he soon discovers that the level of magic in the world has drastically decreased during his absence.
As he enrolls in the academy to claim his rightful title, he discovers that the demons remember him differently. His personality, his actions and even his legacy are being falsified, masquerading under the name of an imposter. This “lack” of general knowledge makes him the outlier of the Academy, an outsider unprecedented in history. Despite these downsides, Anos is unimpressed. As she sets out to uncover those who are manipulating her glorious past, she takes it upon herself to make her descendants see that their ruler has finally returned.
