A new trailer for the second season of the project has been released on the official website of the light novel anime adaptation of The Rise of the Shield Hero (Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari). The video confirms that the voice actress Kana Hanazawa will play the character Ost Horai.
The second season of The Rising of the Shield Hero was scheduled for fall 2021 (October – December) but was pushed back to the spring 2022 (April – June) season for “various reasons”. like 2012, Aneko Yusagi began publishing the novels of Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari through the Shousetsuka ni Narou service and completed it in 2015. Subsequently, Kadokawa began publication in print with illustrations by Minami Seira in August 2013.
In the cast of voice actors we find Kaito Ishikawa as Naofumi Iwatani, Asami Seto as Raphtalia, Rina Hidaka as Filo, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Ren Amaki, Makoto Takahashi as Motoyasu Kitamura, Yoshitaka Yamaya as Itsuki Kawasumi, Maaya Uchida as Melty and Kikelia Inoue.
In production, on the other hand, we have staff Masato Jinbo (Syomin Sample, Restaurant to Another World), in charge of directing the anime at the Kinema Citrus studio. Keigo Koyanagi (The Pet Girl of Sakurasou, Made in Abyss, Hanasaku Iroha) is writing and supervising the scripts.
Masahiro Suwa (Hitsugi no Chaika, Scorching Ping Pong Girls) is responsible for character design and animation direction in collaboration with Kota Sera. Kevin Penkin (Made in Abyss, Kami no Tou) is responsible for composing the soundtrack.
The group MADKID returns from season one to cover the opening theme with the single titled “Return‘, while also the singer Chiai Fujikawa returns from the first season to perform the closing theme with the single titled “Yuzurenai”.
“THAT Four heroes They are a group of ordinary men of modern Japan summoned to the kingdom of Melromarc to become its saviors. Melromarc is a land ravaged by waves of disaster who have repeatedly ravaged the earth and brought disasters upon their citizens for centuries.
