A few days after the release of Volume 33 of My Hero Academywhich contains the concluding parts of Izuku Midoriya’s Vigilante period, some attentive readers have noticed some interesting changes and additions, and with great surprise also the presence of an unpublished table concerning one of the most moving scenes of Class 1-A.
Before the last act of the opera, Kohei Horikoshi wanted to face what we could call The Hero Crisis, leaving Midoriya with difficult choices that have left him alone, if only for a short time, to confront the little villain. Despite his escape from Yuei High School and estrangement from mentor All Might, both his classmates and the former peace symbol have not given up on hiring him again.
That started the a series of moving scenes and sequences, marked by moments of absolute sincerity, apologies and compliments, even from the cold and often obnoxious Katsuki Bakugo. In trying to convince Deku to return to the academy, the companions had to face the protagonist in a sense alongside them as well, and Iida He even rushed to get it. Horikoshi dedicated a new table to Tenya, which you can see alongside the many changes in Amazing_Rich’s post reported below.
Some of the changes concern the rendering of shadows and more chiaroscuro in certain drawings, such as the moment of Uraraka’s speech on the high school roof, or even when All Might raises his fist to the sky, just as the rain stops, and finally at the surrender of the Pro Hero Star & Stripe. What do you think of these changes and the unedited page? Tell us by leaving a comment.
