Very close to the return of the adventures of the Four Heroes in the kingdom of Melromarc. The second season of The Rise of the Shield Hero one of the most popular Isekai of recent years, will debut on Crunchyroll on April 6, 2022, and as the first episode draws closer, a new trailer has been released.
A two minute video where the writers decided to focus on the character of Rishia Ivyred and her development as a member of the Hero of the Arc group and ally of Naofumi’s group, the rest of the trailer is dedicated to reports at the beginning of the news. In addition, the @animetv_jp page shared the new, beautiful, key visual which you can instead see at the bottom of the page where all the main protagonists appear and where Rishia is depicted right next to the protagonist and his precious and powerful shield.
If you haven’t approached this adventure yet, here is a brief presentation: Iwatani Naofumi, passionate about manga and anime, will one day find a book that transports him to another dimension where he must take on the role of one of the four heroes as the hero of the shield. Then he starts his story together with his group, but only a few days after his arrival he is betrayed and loses everything. Wounded by what happened and unable to trust others, he begins rebuilding a team with slaves in hopes of doing so regain respect and power.
