The Quintessential Quintuplets 2 has been postponed, announcing the new release date

The Quintessential Quintuplets 2 will not be released in October as previously stated, as revealed a few minutes ago by the anime's official Twitter profile. The series has in fact been postponed for a few months Coronavirus emergency problems, and therefore will not return before 2021.

At the bottom you can take a look at the press release published by the animation studio, in which the experts apologized for the delay, blaming the health emergency and promising to work at their best even from home. As reported, the second season will return in January 2021.

We remind you that the first season of the series has adapted the first 32 chapters of the opera of Deny Haruba, which has now ended a few months with the publication of Volume 14. The second season should therefore transpose the events described in chapters 33 to 64 approximately, net of some likely cuts. In total The Quintessential Quintuplets is made up of 122 chapters and, unless the studio decides to end the story early, there should be enough material to make at least four seasons of twelve episodes each.
