The conclusion of The Promised Neverland in Weekly Shonen Jump a few months ago didn’t stop the franchise from continuing. Beyond editing the live-action film and season two of the anime in 2021, the two writers are focused on both the exhibit and some special chapters about different characters.

The first of these chapters, published in Weekly Shonen Jump, focuses on Krone. The sister who had joined in the early stages of The promised Neverland Then he returns to the magazine and reveals his entire story. After Krone has been chosen to become a mother, she finds herself in the chaos of training with the other aspirants. Still shy and undecided, she will find an unexpected ally in Cecile, an older sister of Grace Field, and train for two years.

Day after day, the two strengthen their bond and dream more and more of fleeing this place, even though they know the great limitations that exist between surveillance systems and the chip implanted in their bodies. The two do not seem discouraged, even if one of the other candidates tries to escape and in the meantime dies under the astonished gaze of all the girls.

When Krone will try to implement the plan but is betrayed by Cecile who seemed to take advantage of the weaknesses of the other candidates in order to eliminate them and so stand out. From that moment on, Krone will decide not to trust her anymore, and before she is killed, she will be able to turn the tables on her and betray Cecile with various tests. Crown will be saved and Cecile will die happilyKnowing that she managed to save her younger sister by hardening her and forcing her not to trust anyone, and waiting for one day to see the sky together freely again.

The next additional chapter of The Promised Neverland will instead focus on Isabella and debut in Weekly Shonen Jump on December 14, 2020.
