A few moments ago, a short teaser trailer of the second season of The Promised Neverland aired exclusively in Japan, which featured new demons and some mysterious characters. Although the video was broadcast live on TV shows some very important scenes of season 2, so we’re also renewing the spoiler alert once.
The teaser shows Emma and the other refugees being pursued by a large demon, two mysterious characters who surround Emma and Ray in a cave, and another character with a hood. Without referring to the manga, we can foresee that The new story arc reveals new details about the setting and will explain more clearly the situation the orphanage refugees find themselves in. The trailer also confirms the release date of Season 2, i.e. January 7, 2021.
The two mysterious characters were featured in an official poster yesterday and it has been confirmed that they will be the speakers Shin’ichiro Kamio (Rio Mason Busujima in the hypnosis microphone) e Atsumi Tanezaki (Rio Futaba in Bunny Girl Senpai, Dai in Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai 2020).
We remind you that The Promised Neverland Manga ended this year and that the two authors have already confirmed that they would like to return to the series to submit some details and deepen some points of the story. The anime’s first season is currently available on VVVVID, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video.
