The editorial Shueisha, In collaboration with Marvel Comicsrevealed during the event Tokyo Comic Con 2020, this year virtually performed a new manga written by Sanshirou Kasama and illustrated by Hikaru uesugi, based on the antihero Dead Pool and titled Deadpool: Samurai. The serialization is started via the service Shonen Jump Plus next December 10th in Japan.

Previously, Kasama and Uesugi released a one-shot of the same name for Shueisha’s Shonen Jump Plus service in October 2019 as part of a special collaboration between Shueisha and Marvel Comics that consisted of the release of seven short stories. Deadpool, on the other hand, is a character created by the author Fabian Nicieza and the artist Rob Liefeldwho debuted in The new mutants # 98 in February 1991. He was originally founded as a supervillain but eventually evolved into an antihero.

It’s not the first time a superhero has inspired a manga. Masato Hisa published the manga, inspired by the superhero of Dc comics, Batmantitled Ninja batman through the magazine Monthly heroes from the publisher Heroes between June 2018 and August 2019. The publisher has compiled the work in a total of two volumes.
