On the official site for the popular manga written by also known as Akaka and illustrated by Yokoyari Mengo, Oshi no Ko (My star) has started a countdown to 11:00 p.m. (Japan time) on June 8th. The site is only accessible via mobile devices and the access password is “45510” and it is concluded that at the end of the count there could be an important announcement for the franchise.

It is worth remembering that in March of this year the registration of Internet domains was reported (https://oshinoko.jp/) and Twitter account (@anime_oshinoko), which would indicate that an anime adaptation is in production. However, the information has not yet been confirmed, although some fans are hoping that the official announcement will finally be made at the end of this countdown.

Oshi no Ko

Akasaka and Yokoyari started publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly jump from the publisher shueisha in April 2020. The publisher published the seventh anthology in February 2022 and will publish the eighth in Japan on June 17. also known as Akaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is war) writes it Yokoyari Mengo (Kuzu no Honkai) illustrates this, and the work already has more than 2 million cumulative copies in circulation.

Synopsis for Oshi no Ko

16-year-old Ai Hoshino is a talented and beautiful idol who is adored by her fans. She is the personification of purity, but all that glitters is not gold… Gorou Honda is a gynecologist from a rural area and a big fan of Ai. When the pregnant idol shows up at his hospital, he is more than confused.
