On the official Twitter account for the original anime by Fuji TV and the studies ZEXCS, Bakuten !!the third promotional video of the project was released. The video confirms that the series has dated its premiere in Japan next April 8th and shows a fragment of the concluding theme "Anata ga iru" performed by Wacci.

The series was announced in November 2020 and takes place in Miyagi Prefecture. In fact, it is one of three projects that are planned in collaboration with Misaki no mayoiga Y. Hula Fulla danceaiming to promote Miyagi, Iwate and Fukushima Prefectures. This project is called "Zutto Ouen Project 2011 + 10 ..." and is carried out to commemorate the great earthquake and tsunami in 2011.

  • Toshimasa Kuroyanagi ((Fune where amu, Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare) is responsible for directing the anime in the studios ZEXCS.
  • Toshizo Nemoto ((Log Horizon 2, Macross Delta, Juushinki Pandora) is responsible for writing and monitoring the scripts.
  • Robico ((Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun) is responsible for the original character design while Yuuki Shibata is responsible for the adaptation to the animation and for the animation direction.

Bakuten Synopsis !!

The story takes place in Miyagi Prefecture in Iwanuma City and revolves around a rhythmic gymnastics team from a high school. The focus of the series is Shoutarou Futaba, fascinated by gymnastics after seeing it in his junior year in high school, and who joins the rhythmic gymnastics team at Soushuukan Academy. There he will befriend his classmate Ryouta Misato, who became famous in the sport of rhythmic gymnastics during high school.
