Due to a violent earthquake in Japan, the broadcast of Orient suffered an abrupt termination. The episode, which was scheduled to air on March 16, now has a new release date.

A few days ago, the Japanese city of Fukushima was hit by one 7.3 magnitude shock, which caused power outages, injured more than 200 and severely damaged local homes. Because of this event, Japanese television broadcast a special about the earthquake instead of the appointment with Orient. The episode of the anime series has now been postponed.

Orient was confirmed to be returning through a press release shared with viewers via social media March 23rd on TV Tokyo. Episode 11 of the anime, which was postponed due to an earthquake, will arrive also accompanied by the twelfth, which respects the standard programming. The two episodes will be simulcast back to back in the Crunchyroll catalogue.

Orient made its Crunchyroll debut in January 2022 and established itself as one of the most popular in the winter timetable. However, the earthquake and subsequent tsunami warning had put the series in jeopardy. After the situation has calmed down, the transmission will continue smoothly. And you, do you follow the anime series on Crunchyroll?
