The editorial office Kodansha officially announced the production of an anime adaptation of the manga by Yuuto yotsuba and illustrated by Ryou Ogawa, Paripi Koumei (Yes, boy Kongming!). The series is scheduled to premiere in April 2022 and is the studios’ first adaptation PAWORKS in several years.
On the other hand, Yotsuba started publishing the manga through the digital service Comic days in December 2019, during the publishing house Kodansha released the sixth compiled volume on July 14th and will release the seventh on November 18th in Japan.

Production team
- Osamu honma (Amanchu !, Ayakashi – Samurai Horror Tales, Kedama no Gonjiro, SHIMONETA: A boring world where the concept of dirty jokes does not exist) is responsible for directing the anime in the studios PAWORKS.
- Yoko yonaiyama is responsible for writing and monitoring the scripts.
- Kanami Sekiguchi (Canaan, Charlotte, Hanasaku Iroha, Sakura Quest, Shirobako) is responsible for character design and animation direction.
- Genki Hikota (Lapis Re: Lights, Yuri !!! on ice) is responsible for composing the soundtrack.
Summary of Paripi Koumei
The General of the Three Kingdoms, Kongming (Zhuge Liang), had fought all his life, fighting countless battles that made him the consummate strategist he was. Therefore, he just wanted to be reborn on his deathbed in a peaceful world … and was sent straight to the center of the modern party, Tokyo!
