The Japanese broadcaster NHK recently confirmed that the anime series Kingdom, which was interrupted last May due to the coronavirus, will be broadcast again from Sunday, April 4, 2021, with the broadcast of Episode 5 A brand new key visual was shared with Xin Li and Zheng Ying.

The third season of Kingdom aired regularly until April 26, 2020. Overly complicated post-production work prior to Covid-19. The guys from Studio Pierrot have therefore decided to postpone the series indefinitely and then announced their return last December with a trailer for the new episodes. The anime is not expected to receive any further interruptions until the twenty-sixth and final episode airs.

We remind you that the Kingdom Manga is currently in the serialization phase, with 60 volumes published and around 670 chapters available. The first two seasons of the anime adapted the events narrated in the first 24 tankobons, and the latter, made up of the 26 episodes mentioned above, was intended to transpose the two narrative arcs narrated in the following 10 volumes. The chances of an extension for a fourth season are quite highalthough we will hardly see it in the short term.

What do you think about it? Are you going to watch the third season of Kingdom? Let us know with a comment!
