On March 5th, the guys at WIT Studio announced a new anime adaptation of The Girl from the Other Side, the famous Nagabe manga released in Italy by J-Pop. However, the release of the OAD (Original Anime DVD) is was linked to the success of the Kickstarter campaignand fortunately the required amount was reached in less than 24 hours.
In fact, WIT had some problems in production and asked fans from all over the world to fund the project Donate at least 3 million yen (Approximately € 20,000), necessary for the production of the feature film. The goal was met on Wednesday and at the time of writing the grand total exceeds 6.3 million yen. Donations remain open until May 9, 2021.
