In exactly one month, Hajime Isayama will finally be able to illustrate his great masterpiece. The attack of the giants, a work that made him famous all over the world. There are still many unanswered questions, however, and it will be up to the final chapter to bring a worthy ending to a series that has shaped a generation of fans.
In the past few hours, the first spoilers of Chapter 138 of The Giants' Attack had been online. A series of breathtaking events, so many twists and turns, that readers have too many questions for a single chapter for the sensei to complete the exploits of his masterpiece. We'd like to remind you that the following are massive spoilers, and we encourage you to only read on if you are on par with the story.
Anyway, the finale ended with an extraordinary scene: MikasaThanks to the support of Armin and Levi manages to reach Eren and sever his head cleanly to permanently thwart his plans. While there are all the requirements for a bitter ending, there is one detail that Isayama introduced that could change the outcome. As far as we know, giant holders can do this Transfer your consciousness to other parts of the bodyJust think of Reiner on Paradis Island. Though removed, there is still a possibility that Mikasa, wearing the scarf, could only change Eren's consciousness inside the head, thus surviving the fatal blow.
