In late 2022, Barry Allen will star in The Flash, a film that promises to change the future of the DC Universe in theaters. To celebrate the release of the film directed by Andy Muschietti, DC Comics announces comic book tie-in with film starring Ezra Miller titled The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive.
It is a three part miniseries written by Kenny Porter and illustrated by Ricardo López Ortiz, Juan Ferreyra and Jason Howard. The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive #1 Cover is made by Max Fiumara but is also expected a variant cover by Andy Muschietti, director of The Flash.
The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive will serve as the prologue toowowing on the film, and will take place after the events narrated in the Justice League film. in this story, Barry Allen will ask Batman for help to learn how to better control his powers. Batman is also rumored to have a major role in the film, as The Flash will be Ben Affleck’s last film as Batman.
The release of The Flash: World’s No. 1 Fastest Man is scheduled for April 16, 2022 in the US. The second issue will appear in May, the last issue is planned for July. The intention of DC Comics is Collect the three publications in one volume, which is expected to be released in October 2022, in time for the film’s debut, which is currently slated for a November 2022 release.
