At the end of the final episode of the second season of the new anime adaptation of the manga, written and illustrated by Natsuki Takaya, Fruit basketthe production of the third and final season of the project, the premiere of which is scheduled for 2021, has been confirmed. This series is titled Fruit basket: the finale.
The series premiered over the canal on April 6th TV Tokyo and TV Aichi and had a total of 25 consecutive episodes. The first season of the anime premiered in Japan in April 2019 and contained 25 episodes. This new adaptation of the Fruits Basket Manga features an entirely new cast and production team, just like Takaya requested. In contrast to the adaptation from 2001, this time all events of the manga are dealt with.

Fruit basket synopsis
After a family tragedy turned her life upside down, student Tohru Honda decides to face the problem with her own hands and moves … into a tent!
Unfortunately, she makes her new home on the grounds of the mysterious Sohma clan, and it doesn’t take long for the owners to discover her secret.
At the same time that Tohru discovers that the family will offer to house them in their enclosures, she also realizes that the Sohma have their own secret: and that is, when touched by the opposite sex, they become the animals of the zodiac ! Chinese!
