On the official page of the next feature film in the multimedia franchise of BanG dream!, titled BanG dream! Poppin 'dream!, a new promotional image of the project was released. The film is scheduled to premiere in Japan on January 1, 2022. The description of the feature confirmed that it was a direct sequel to the third season of the original series, and the story is described as follows:
«The story begins with the appearance of a mysterious woman in front of Kasumi and her friends after their successful concert in Budoukan and plays in a foreign country. The visual teaser shows the members of Poppin'Party reunited at dusk. The trailer shows Kasumi and her friends sitting side by side on a pier by the sea with the members of RAISE A SUILEN hanging out inside.».
For its part, the anime adaptation has three seasons so far. The first was produced by Eat (the collaboration of the studios OLM with Buschistraße) and XEBEC, and aired in January 2017. Subsequent seasons were produced by studios SANE and published in the seasons Winter 2019 (January-March) and Winter-2020 (January-March).

General summary of BanG Dream!
When Kasumi Toyama camped as a child, she listened to the rhythm of the "Star Beat" and admired the starry night sky. Now, as a newly enrolled student at Hanasakigawa Girls' Academy, Kasumi is more determined than ever to find that lost feeling again.
